Student Feedback
I had the absolute pleasure in attending a 2 day course on WRAP in University Hospital Waterford on the 23rd and 24th of April. I found this course extremely useful for my work and very much increased my interest in the area . I believe there is a five day facilitator course which I would like to complete. I would appreciate any information you could offer me on this course .
New insights into complexity of mental health illness. Raised awareness into how to improve our perspective to the Service User.
I found this programme extremely beneficial. As a student I hope to carry these principles with me to different settings as I go through my training and also my future career.
Well presented by facilitators. Increased my understanding of Recovery and highlighted need to integrate its principals into my everyday practice.
Good to have a Service User and family member delivering training to gain their insights and experience.
Its very helpful to have new tools available to us, to enhance our work.
All administration, principal AHPs and Managers should participate in the Recovery Training.
This was a great and invaluable learning opportunity. It helped me want to work even harder to promote recovery and become a nurse that is worthy to provide help and care for service users.
Found the workshop; very beneficial as it gave me a different approach to how I interact with service users.
"Great day, great Facilitators and Group"
"Very glad I came, enjoyed the session - another great session in the Recovery College"
"Real freedom to say what I think"
"I felt everything was catered to help me in my recovery"
"The random insights of others that struck a chord with my own"
"I would like to become trained as a facilitator, this course has given me belief that I can move on"
